Lafaurie'
is a traditional and newly renovated country farmhouse,
located in the beautiful Lot-et Garonne, close to the Dordogne
border. Enjoying a rural setting, 'Lafaurie' is conveniently
situated just a few minutes from the well supplied market
town of Miramont de Guyenne with supermarkets, bars, cafés,
bakers, butchers, fishmongers and its wonderful Monday market.
Within just half an hour's drive one can reach larger centres
including Bergerac, Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Marmande and many
of the pretty "Bastide" villages and towns for which
the area is so popular.
Leisure lakes, golf courses, fishing, pony trekking and many
other activities are all available close by.
When it comes to vineyards, larger well-known and small family
run concerns are dotted throughout the surrounding region
including Duras, Monbazillac and Cahors.
The owners, Jane and Alan Patterson live in the adjoining
barn, and whilst on hand to assist with any queries or share
a bottle of local wine, the properties are entirely self contained
and private from one another.
